The 2008 National Heads-Up Poker competition is a poker tournament that is airing on NBC. The competition first took place in 2005. This tournament occurs annually and features the best 64 poker players in the United States. One bracket faces off every Sunday afternoon at around noon eastern time. The tournament features a unique bracket style elimination which is modeled after the way college basketball tournaments take place. The winner of the bracket moves on and faces another person in a future week in hopes of winning the tournament.
