2007's Transformers was named best film, while actress Ellen Page took home the golden popcorn trophy for best female performance in Juno. Actor Will Smith won best male performance for I Am Legend.Actor Johnny Depp grabbed two awards: one for best villain in Sweeney Todd and another for best comedic performance in At World's End.
Tom Cruise presented Adam Sandler with the 2008 Generation Award for his role in entertaining MTV viewers.
