At the event, Tina Turner made her first concert appearance in seven years, and performed "What's Love Got To Do With It," "Better Be Good to Me". She also did a duet of "Proud Mary" with Beyonce Knowles. John Fogerty, Jerry Lee Lewis and Little Richard joined forces to play three classic songs. Alicia Keys sang two duets, one with John Mayer and another with an old recording of Frank Sinatra. Kanye West collaborated with Daft Punk, and sang a tribute to his late mother. Fergie performed her song "Finally" with John Legend. Carrie Underwood performed her song "Before He Cheats". And the Foo Fighters played a song alongside Led Zeppelin bassist, John Paul Jones.
