June 29, 2007: Two car bombs were discovered in the Haymarket area of London. Both of the car bombs were isolated and difused before they were able to explode. The explosives were believed to have been assembled by the perpetrators of the Glasgow Airport attack.
No Casualties
The car bombs were discovered one day after Gordon Brown became prime minister, and one day prior to the Glasgow Airport attack. The perpetrators, Bilal Abdullah and Kafeel Ahmed, caused no casualties despite setting three car bombs in two days. Abdullah and Ahmed were arrested on June 30, 2007.
