Controversy over "Black Tech Bloggers" Video
In 2008 Loren Feldman released the online video "Where are all the black tech bloggers" in which he parodied fictitious black culture within the technology and Internet sector. The video was perceived by some as harmless humor and by others as highly offensive racist content. The video was included as part of the keynote and roundtable discussion of a African American business conference in 2008. -
1938 Media and Shel Israel
In 2008 Loren Feldman begin to parody social media expert Shel Israel of Fast Company TV. The inspiration for this started from a simple critique of Shel Israel's interview techniques and evolved into a reoccurring bit. Feldman was able to purchase the domain name Shelisrael.com which he setup to display several videos featuring a puppet facsimile of Israel. -
