    On February 7, 2009, the car sold at the Bonham's Retromobile Auction in Paris for $4.4 million dollars.   • Bugatti's Last Owner

    The Bugatti was owned by orthopedist Dr. Harold Carr, who died in 2007 at age 89. Carr, who lived in Gosforth, near Newcastle, England, suffered from obsessive compulsive complex, and never married nor had any children. His estate was left to eight relatives, nieces and nephews who aware that he had a number of classic cars but weren't aware of their value.
