19 Pound Indonesian Baby

On September 25, 2009, an Indonesian woman, Ani Risuddin gave birth to a baby boy who weighed an astonishing 19.2 pounds. the boy named Akbar created a record - "the heaviest baby ever born in Indonesia". Although the heaviest infant born was from America who weighed 23 pounds, 12 ounces, he died a few hours after being born.

The boy- Akbar is found to have breathing problems in the beginning but after doctors gave artificial supply of oxygen, his condition returned to normal.

"He's got strong appetite, every minute, it's almost non-stop feeding," The gynecologist said.

"This baby boy is extraordinary, the way he's crying is not like a usual baby. It's really loud."

Due to his enormous size, he was born by cesarean section Monday at a public hospital in North Sumatra province.
