12 Fingered Man Video
A specific series of clicks on the website for the fall FOX television show Fringe brings users to a YouTube video about a 12-fingered man. Fringe co-creator J.J. Abrams is notorious for creating viral web content related to his television show Lost. Is this the beginning of web content for the new series?

Coincidence, or Web Campaign?
PortalToIndia.com has been registered via Concentric's Private Domain Registration service, which conceals any information about the registrant. This could be an attempt by the site owners not to be contacted - or it could be a move by Abrams' production company Bad Robot to conceal their involvement in the site. The site is slated to be up and running in September, 2008, which is also when Fringe is due to premiere. Namaste is a somewhat common greeting in India, but it is also a phrase frequently heard in connection with the Dharma Initiative on Lost. The YouTube user "portaltoindia" denies all connection with the TV show Fringe. Someone calling himself "Stuart" has posted in response to a blog post about the video, disclaiming knowledge of Fringe but detailing the site imagery's relation to quantum physics and the Fibonacci sequence.
