In 2003 Aron Ralston became a new man. He was busy climbing mountains in the canyons of Utah when he found himself faced with a life or death situation. Avid climber Aron Ralston was hiking alone when suddenly, he found himself alone, away from home, pinned under a huge bolder. Aron who was physically fit and capable of handling himself in almost any situation was now in a predicament that no one could have foreseen. After a few hours of trying desperately to push the boulder off of his arm, he realized that he could never do it alone and he had only one choice - if he wanted to stay alive.

The though of the only solution to his problem made Aron cringe, he realized, sadly that he has to remove his arm since he could not remove the boulder. Armed with only a small pocket knife, Aron began to methodically, albeit reluctantly cut off his arm. After hours of cutting and sawing, he realized the task was going to be a lot more difficult than he ever could have imagined.

During the 127 hours he was pinned beneath the boulder, he thought of all of the people he loved and those who would be left behind if he died. These sad thoughts brought new determination to his will to survive this devastating dilemma. Finally, after more than five days, Aron was able to free himself and return to his loved ones. This is a book that was a made into a movie.

There are no official reviews or credit for 127 Hours, the filming began in Spring of 2010 and the experts are predicting that this will be a difficult movie to make. There is expected to be hardly any dialogue for the first half of filming.
