Javon Thompson's Death
In January 2007, Javon Thompson, who was almost two years old, was denied food and water by his cult-member mother Ria Ramkissoon and other cult members because he wouldn't say "amen." The members reportedly believed the boy was a "demon." Following his death, the members danced around his body as it lay on a couch. The body was then put into a green suitcase while the cult members awaited resurrection.Resurrection Plea Deal
Ramkissoon pleaded guilty to just child abuse leading to death in a plea deal on March 31, 2009. In exchange, she will testify against fellow cult members. In addition, Ramkissoon must undergo deprogramming. Prosecutors agreed to drop all charges if the child was resurrected.BaltimoreSun.com: 1 Mind Ministries: Mother Pleads Guilty in Son's Starvation..
