.Mac was a service available to owners of Apple computers that integrated and synced the user's computer with the Internet. It has since been rebranded by Apple and is now known as MobileMe.
Subscribers to .Mac received 1 GB of virtual disk space (later upgraded to 10), a hosted website and many other amenities.
